Accounts Officer

As an Accounts Officer at CryptoMize, you run the accounts desk for a multi-pillar intelligence and consulting practice operating across 18 countries. You keep meticulous records of incoming and outgoing money, answer account questions from internal teams and external counterparties, and produce the financial reports leadership and regulators rely on. Your work ensures disciplined payables, receivables, reconciliation, and compliance-GST, TDS, and audit trails-making the firm's books strategically credible. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our New Delhi HQ with immediate joining available.

What you'll do

• Process accounts payable and receivable across the firm's engagement billing, including vendor invoices, client billings, and milestone schedules
• Reconcile bank and ledger accounts on a fixed cadence, chasing and clearing discrepancies to zero
• Maintain client payment follow-up through statement cycles, aging review, and escalation flags before arrears become disputes
• Run internal audits of financial activity on request, sampling transactions, verifying approvals, and documenting findings
• Review incoming and outgoing bills for correctness against engagement scope before anything is booked
• Keep account information current in the firm's internal systems of record, including the accounting stack and CRM handoffs
• Support Account Executives with back-office commercial tasks such as billing setups, credit notes, and documentation packs

What you bring

• Double-entry bookkeeping and month-end discipline
• Accounts payable and receivable management across multi-workstream billing
• Bank and ledger reconciliation to zero, on cadence
• Tally Prime or Zoho Books fluency, plus pivot-level Excel at minimum
• GST and TDS compliance basics for Indian services firms
• Aging analysis and disciplined collection follow-up
• Internal audit support including sampling, verification, and documentation
• Financial report preparation for leadership and regulatory review
• Proficiency with payment and banking portals with reconciliation exports
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with client billing detail
• Process improvement mindset to spot root causes behind recurring discrepancies
• Cross-desk coordination with finance, commercial, and delivery teams
