Accounts Payable Analyst

As an Accounts Payable Analyst at Copper, you ensure the accurate, timely, and controlled processing of all supplier invoices, employee expenses, and vendor payments across the Copper group. You support the integrity of the company's financial records, working capital management, and regulatory compliance by maintaining a robust accounts payable process within a fast-growing fintech environment.

What you'll do

• Process invoices in the system, ensuring they are correctly coded
• Verify employee expenses and confirm the correct supporting documentation is provided
• Reconcile company credit cards across the business
• Provide support to internal and external stakeholders on all accounts payable matters
• Assist the Accounts Payable Manager with weekly payment runs, ensuring all vendors and employee expenses are paid on time
• Administer company credit cards
• Assist the Accounts Payable Manager with systems migrations and rollout of new policies and procedures to the wider business
• Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Reconcile purchase orders to invoices received
• Investigate and resolve outstanding creditor items in a timely manner
• Support the Accounts Payable team and Management Accounts with ad-hoc tasks as needed

What you bring

• Graduate or school leaver level education, or previous experience in an accounts payable assistant role
• Ability to work both as a team player and autonomously, driving the purchase ledger cycle
• Comfort processing large invoice volumes into an ERP system in a timely manner
• Good Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, quick learning ability, and aptitude to adapt to business changes
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with the Tipalti AP system
• Experience in the fintech industry
• General knowledge of blockchain infrastructure and digital assets
