Advanced Systems Engineer for Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions

As an Advanced Systems Engineer for the Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions group at General Dynamics Mission Systems, you will join a cross-functional team responsible for developing next-generation cryptography solutions. You will lead the systems development life cycle with strong proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools, applying technical standards and methodologies to solve critical national security challenges.

What you'll do

• Lead the systems development life cycle with strong proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools
• Apply technical standards and methodologies to develop cryptography and cross-domain solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members to drive success
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders and customers, negotiating win-win solutions to meet challenging requirements
• Use DOORs for requirements management and documentation
• Apply Model Based Systems Engineering principles to solution development
• Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
• Support ongoing professional development for yourself and others on the team

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field, plus 5+ years of job-related experience; or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
• A Department of Defense Secret security clearance at time of hire
• U.S. citizenship (required due to the nature of work performed)
• Proficiency with DOORs for requirements management
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering

What we offer

• Salary of $124,397 to $135,000 per year
