AML-Screening-Assistent/in

As an AML-Screening Assistant at BlockchainAnalysis.io, you support the Compliance Team in monitoring and analysing transactions and wallets daily for potential money laundering and sanctions risks. You review KYC/KYB data, conduct name and entity screenings, verify hits, and document findings in clear, audit-ready reports. You work with BlockchainAnalysis.io tools, analyse risk assessments, prepare information for MLROs and other departments, and contribute to ongoing optimisation of screening processes. You also assist in preparing internal reports and documentation for external audits and investigations. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

What you'll do

• Monitor and analyse transactions and wallets for potential money laundering and sanctions risks
• Review KYC/KYB data and conduct name and entity screenings
• Verify screening hits and document results in audit-ready reports
• Analyse risk assessments using BlockchainAnalysis.io tools
• Prepare information and reports for MLROs and other departments
• Contribute to ongoing optimisation of screening processes
• Assist in preparing internal reports and documentation for external audits and investigations

What you bring

• A sound understanding of AML/CFT principles, sanctions regimes, and regulatory requirements in financial and crypto sectors, ideally with some prior experience in compliance, financial crime prevention, or cryptocurrency
• Analytical skills to evaluate large datasets, proficiency with digital tools and databases, and the ability to document findings in a structured and thorough manner
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate clearly and precisely with compliance officers, MLROs, auditors, and other stakeholders
• Fluent English in written and spoken form; additional language skills are a plus, especially for working with international data sources and reports
• A completed degree or equivalent qualification
