Analyste crypto-actifs et innovation H/F

Join the Service des nouvelles Technologies pour les Infrastructures des Marchés (STIM) at Banque de France as a research and coordination analyst focusing on crypto-assets and financial innovation. You will support the team's work on central bank digital currency (CBDC) for wholesale markets and monitor developments in crypto-assets, tokenised assets, and distributed ledger technologies applied to finance.

What you'll do

• Monitor crypto-assets, tokenisation, distributed ledger technologies (DLT) applied to finance, and wholesale CBDC initiatives worldwide, producing a weekly internal newsletter
• Contribute to research work and participate in committees and working groups led by the team
• Monitor and track experimentation projects conducted by the service
• Support cross-functional team projects
• Assist STIM with external consulting requests as needed
• Maintain and update the Banque de France CBDC webpage
• Produce analyses and cross-functional summaries on crypto-assets, CBDC, and financial innovation topics
• Keep monitoring tables current for steering meetings on experimentation initiatives

What you bring

• Currently studying for a BAC+5 level degree (grande école, university master's, IEP, business school) with specialisation in finance, economics, and/or public affairs, completing a gap-year or final-year internship
• Strong written and spoken English
• Excellent writing skills and strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
• Ability to lead discussions, workshops, and group work
• Sense of priorities and respect for deadlines
• Rigorous, organised and proactive working approach
• Intellectual curiosity, dynamism, and good teamwork
• Autonomy within given guidelines

Nice to have

• Knowledge of crypto-assets, finance, and monetary policy questions
