Application Manager - Wallet Infrastructure

As a Platform Manager for Wallet Infrastructure at Crypto Finance Group, you own the day-to-day operation, stability, and continuous improvement of the wallet infrastructure serving institutional clients. You sit at the intersection of technology, operations, and stakeholder service, acting as the second-line owner for production incidents, coordinating releases, integrating new clients, and turning recurring issues into a prioritized roadmap.

What you'll do

• Own the day-to-day running of Crypto Finance's wallet infrastructure, ensuring availability, stability, and performance in production
• Act as the second-line (L2) owner for production incidents, receiving escalations from first-line teams, owning triage and resolution through configuration changes, conducting root cause analysis, and escalating code-level defects to engineering
• Plan and coordinate platform releases with engineering and QA teams, covering scheduling, change control, pre-release validation, and post-release verification
• Support institutional clients through integration and troubleshooting, ensuring each client passes conformance testing certification before going live in production
• Configure and maintain platform and application settings to meet business and client requirements
• Open, track, and manage tickets for production issues and improvements, and maintain and prioritize the backlog
• Evaluate platform performance and drive improvements to reliability, speed, and scalability
• Support the Product Manager on ongoing initiatives and ensure platform upgrades are delivered on time
• Collaborate with internal teams, institutional clients, and vendors to ensure the platform meets business needs and issues are resolved promptly
• Ensure the platform adheres to relevant security, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including DORA
• Maintain comprehensive platform documentation and a current knowledge base

What you bring

• Minimum 3 years of operating or managing production-grade financial technology platforms within financial services
• Working knowledge of blockchain technology, transaction workflows, and wallet infrastructure setups
• Proven experience in production incident management and root cause analysis
• Experience coordinating releases and change management across technical and vendor teams
• Strong understanding of API-based integrations and system connectivity (REST, WebSocket)
• Proficiency with ticketing and backlog management tools, with Jira preferred
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to financial markets, such as DORA
