Artificial Intelligence Expert

As an Artificial Intelligence Expert at CryptoMize, you serve as the senior technical authority on the practice's hardest AI problems. This is a full-time, permanent senior position at our New Delhi HQ. You sit above the analyst-developer axis, reviewing model architecture, diagnosing escalated failures, and setting the technical bar for how AI is practiced across the stack. You apply computer science, engineering and business judgment to systems that must add measurable value-better decisions, lower cost, faster foresight-and defend that value to skeptical client rooms.

What you'll do

• Serve as senior technical authority on the practice's hardest AI problems, including architecture review, failure diagnosis, and feasibility judgment
• Review and sign off on model and system designs before they reach production or client rooms
• Untangle escalated failures: the model that drifted, the pipeline that lied, the forecast that missed for structural reasons
• Set technical standards-validation discipline, documentation, review gates-that analyst and developer benches follow
• Advise engagement teams on emerging AI issues: what new techniques genuinely change, and what they do not
• Interface with client technical leadership as the credible counterpart who can both build and explain
• Mentor senior analysts and developers toward expert-grade judgment
• Document detailed functional requirements with an eye on usability and auditability

What you bring

• Deep ML mastery: architecture selection, training dynamics, and failure forensics
• Production system judgment: cost, latency, and reliability trade-offs at scale
• Technical review authority: the ability to read a system and find where it will break
• Root-cause analysis on model and pipeline failures
• Emerging-technique literacy (LLMs, multimodal, causal inference) with honest appraisal
• Proficiency with the full Python ML stack (PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker-class)
• Ability to write technical documentation including requirements and architecture records
• SQL on large engagement corpora
• Client-facing credibility: the ability to defend technical positions under expert questioning
• Cross-domain range: understanding of political, reputation, security and governance applications
• Analytical problem decomposition under ambiguity
• Discretion with client systems and data (NDA-grade)
