Artificial Intelligence Researcher

As an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at CryptoMize, you design and run research programs on the practice's hardest recurring problems-forecasting, coordination detection, and multilingual perception. You own the experimental method from hypothesis through honest negative results, scout emerging techniques, and graduate proven methods to platform teams. This is a full-time, permanent research position based at our New Delhi HQ, working across 18 countries.

What you'll do

• Design and run research programs on the practice's hardest recurring problems: forecasting, coordination detection, and multilingual perception
• Own the experimental method, including hypotheses, baselines, ablations, and honest negative results
• Scout emerging techniques such as LLMs, causal inference, and sequence modeling, and appraise what they genuinely change for our problems
• Graduate proven methods to the platform teams with the documentation and handoff that makes adoption real
• Analyze information at corpus scale, designing the study, executing it, and reporting what the data actually supports
• Present research outcomes to practice leadership in the language of decisions, not papers
• Collaborate with analysts as first users-your ideas meet real corpora before they meet production
• Organize and prioritize milestones and deliverables with disciplined experimental design and rigorous execution
• Scope technical tasks creatively and demonstrate advanced research approaches to complex problems

What you bring

• Expertise in experimental design, controls, and reporting you can defend
• Deep learning research craft: architectures, training regimes, and evaluation
• Applied mathematics and computational statistics
• Critical thinking and data analysis integrated into effective study design
• Proficiency with the Python research stack (PyTorch, NumPy, SciPy)
• Command of relevant literature-knowing what exists before reinventing
• Ability to articulate objectives and outcomes in writing and verbally
• Comfort with negative-result honesty-killing your own idea with clean evidence
• Ability to collaborate with analysts and platform engineers
• Demonstrated discretion with methods tied to client advantage

Nice to have

• Experience with experiment tracking tools such as MLflow or Weights & Biases
• GPU compute experience on cloud platforms such as AWS
• Proficiency with LaTeX or Markdown for research documentation
