Backend Engineer (SDE 2)

As a Backend Engineer (SDE 2) at GoSats, you build the systems that power India's simplest onramp to Bitcoin and Gold assets. You own high-throughput payment processing, wallet management, KYC orchestration, settlement engines, and bank integrations end-to-end. You work in a fast-shipping environment where you review AI-generated code for architecture, edge cases, and security, not in narrow swim lanes.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain high-throughput payment processing systems
• Develop wallet management infrastructure
• Own KYC orchestration and settlement engines
• Integrate with banking partners
• Review and improve AI-generated code for architecture, edge cases, and security
• Own systems end-to-end across your domain

What you bring

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience at SDE 2 level
• Strong proficiency in Typescript
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS
• Experience with microservices and REST/gRPC APIs
• Comfort using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex in your daily workflow
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, system design, and concurrency
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker

Nice to have

• Experience building fintech, payment, or wallet systems
• Open source contributions
