【Backend Engineer-Specialist(Go)】Fintech Service using blockchain technology / Full Remote/ Business Japanese

As a Backend Engineer Specialist at a venture-backed fintech company, you will develop web applications and blockchain infrastructure for a cross-border remittance platform using stablecoins. You join a team building de facto global infrastructure in the rapidly growing blockchain space, where Japan's regulatory advantage in stablecoin legislation creates a unique opportunity to lead internationally.

What you'll do

• Propose and implement significant changes to system architecture based on clear understanding of feature value
• Develop backend services and blockchain applications using Go, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure (Azure, Kubernetes)
• Implement solutions using official documentation and literature, including English-language sources
• Share technical knowledge through pair programming, mob programming, and technical walkthroughs
• Build and maintain development environments that ensure high internal system quality
• Contribute to establishing development foundations, review processes, and repository strategies for new projects

What you bring

• Business level Japanese proficiency
• Proven experience implementing solutions using statically typed languages such as Go, C/C++, Java, Rust, or Scala
• Strong foundational knowledge of algorithms, data structures, networks, security, and design patterns
• Demonstrated experience developing environments that ensure internal system quality
• A strong interest in blockchain technology
• Ability to work from English technical literature and official documentation

Nice to have

• Experience organizing system development requirements into Design Docs or Architecture Decision Records
• Experience establishing development foundations, defining development rules, and creating repository strategies during project launches
• Product development experience in the FinTech domain
• Development experience related to blockchain
• Experience in technical public relations or recruitment activities within engineering
