Backend Engineer - Wallets (100% Remote)

As a Backend Engineer at Tether, you will build robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions that power a global platform for reserve-backed tokens and digital finance. You join a distributed team pioneering decentralized financial infrastructure across blockchains.

What you'll do

• Contribute to groundbreaking projects using agile methodologies and innovative technologies
• Ensure backend services remain responsive and real-time while accommodating platform growth and an evolving user base
• Uphold the highest security standards across all backend processes and services to safeguard user assets and data

What you bring

• Very proficient in Node.js and JavaScript programming
• Familiarity with microservices architecture for scalable applications
• Experience actively developing complex platforms
• Understanding of peer-to-peer technologies
• Proficiency in interacting with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB
• Strong understanding and experience implementing security best practices
• Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies
• Excellent English communication skills
