As a Backend Engineer focused on Wallets at Tether, you will build robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions that power digital finance on a global scale. You'll work on groundbreaking projects using agile methodologies, contributing to Tether's mission of pioneering decentralized financial infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the creation of groundbreaking projects utilizing agile methodologies and innovative technologies
- Ensure backend services remain responsive and real-time, accommodating the platform's continual growth and evolving user base
- Uphold the highest security standards in all backend processes and services to safeguard users' assets and data
- Work with microservices architecture to build scalable applications
- Develop complex platforms and integrate with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB
What you bring
- Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript programming
- Experience developing complex platforms
- Familiarity with microservices architecture for scalable applications
- Proficiency interacting with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB
- Understanding of peer-to-peer technologies
- Strong understanding and experience implementing security best practices
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies
- Excellent English communication skills
