Binance Accelerator Program - Software Engineer (Cryptography)

As a Software Engineer (Cryptography) in the Binance Accelerator Program, you will conduct cutting-edge research on modern cryptographic protocols for blockchain applications. This is a 3-6 month internship designed for early-career talent to develop skills at the world's leading blockchain ecosystem, with opportunities for networking and professional growth.

What you'll do

• Conduct cutting-edge research on modern cryptographic protocols, including post-quantum cryptography, threshold signatures, signature aggregation, and proof systems for blockchain applications
• Explore and benchmark NIST post-quantum signature standards and emerging constructions from recent academic literature
• Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to translate research outcomes into practical applications
• Publish research findings and contribute to open-source cryptographic projects when appropriate

What you bring

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Cryptography, or a closely related field
• Strong theoretical or practical knowledge of cryptography in areas such as post-quantum signatures, MPC/threshold protocols, zero-knowledge proofs, or interactive proof systems like sumcheck-based protocols
• Proficiency in at least one of Rust, C++, or Python
• Ability to read and reason about security proofs from academic literature

Nice to have

• Prior research experience or publications in post-quantum cryptography, threshold signatures, or verifiable computation
• Familiarity with blockchain architectures, smart contract platforms, or on-chain signature verification constraints
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to accelerate research workflows
