Blockchain and digital Assets Product Owner (M/H/X)

As a Blockchain and Digital Assets Product Owner at Unicaja, you will coordinate and ensure the correct execution of projects within the Blockchain and Digital Assets department in Madrid. Working across internal teams, external providers, and strategic partners, you will drive initiatives aligned with Unicaja's strategic objectives and act as a key reference point for collaboration across the organization.

What you'll do

• Coordinate the execution of blockchain and digital assets technology projects under the Director's supervision, fostering collaboration between internal teams, providers, and strategic partners, and track planning, milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure project success.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements for initiatives, coordinate integrations, conduct functional testing (SIT/UAT), and manage deployments to ensure correct implementation of blockchain and digital assets solutions.
• Manage relationships with technology providers, consultancies, and strategic partners, drive collaboration on joint initiatives, and support evaluation of new solutions for the bank.
• Monitor market trends and the evolution of the blockchain and digital assets ecosystem, evaluate new solutions and opportunities, and support departmental representation at relevant industry forums, working groups, and events to promote innovation and blockchain knowledge within Unicaja.

What you bring

• More than 3 years of experience managing technology projects related to blockchain, digital assets, innovation, or digital transformation, gained in financial institutions, technology consultancies, Big Four, or sector companies.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and technology providers in technology implementation projects.
• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• Knowledge of blockchain, DLT, digital assets, tokenization, and smart contracts.
• Understanding of technology architectures, APIs, and system integration in banking environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or project management methodologies.
• Advanced level of English.
• Initiative and proactivity.
• Collaboration and cross-functional communication skills.
• Analytical capability and problem-solving orientation.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate training in Project Management, Digital Transformation, Blockchain, Digital Assets, or Information Technologies.
