Cortex Consultants is hiring a Blockchain Expert to build, develop, implement, and maintain core blockchain modules. You'll work with the Cosmos SDK and advanced blockchain infrastructure in a hybrid role based in Bangalore or Hyderabad.

What you'll do

• Build, develop, implement, and maintain core blockchain modules in Go using the Cosmos SDK, including a sophisticated role-based token-factory for native asset issuance
• Design and implement custom logic within the ABCI++ interface (Prepare-Proposal and Process-Proposal) to enable advanced features and optimizations
• Configure, launch, and maintain the blockchain network, including genesis configuration, validator setup, and consensus parameter tuning
• Implement and manage cross-chain functionality using the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol
• Write exhaustive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to guarantee the security, correctness, and performance of the core protocol

What you bring

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on backend or distributed systems
• Expert-level proficiency in Go
• Demonstrable, hands-on experience developing and maintaining custom modules for the Cosmos SDK
