Blockchain Developer

Be | Shaping the Future, part of Gruppo Engineering, is seeking a Blockchain Developer to join highly innovative projects for a leading banking sector client.

What you'll do

• Develop blockchain solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Work with distributed ledger technology and smart contract integration
• Implement cryptographic principles and security best practices in production code

What you bring

• Experience with at least one of: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C++
• Knowledge of software development principles including git, unit testing, and clean code practices
• Understanding of cryptography fundamentals: ECDSA, Keccak-256, SHA, and Merkle Trees
• Foundational knowledge of DLT and blockchain concepts including blocks, consensus mechanisms (PoS, PoW, PoA), RPC/WebSocket, UTXO versus account-based models, and token standards (ERC20, ERC721)

Nice to have

• Security best practices, VM, and assembler knowledge
• Experience with Web3 tools such as Metamask, Etherscan, and Remix
• Smart contract interaction via web3.js or ethers.js
• Knowledge of Go or Solidity and libraries such as OpenZeppelin and go-ethereum
• Experience with DeFi, NFT, or DAO projects
• Understanding of common smart contract attack vectors such as reentrancy and overflow vulnerabilities

What we offer

• Salary of 33,000-37,000 EUR annually for Consultant grade or 38,000-49,000 EUR for Senior Consultant grade
