Blockchain / DLT / Digital asset technologies

Virtusa is seeking a blockchain architect with 10+ years of overall technology experience and at least 5+ years working with blockchain, DLT, and digital asset technologies. You will design and deliver secure, scalable, enterprise-grade distributed ledger solutions for banking, financial services, fintech, and other regulated environments.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver enterprise blockchain architecture and implementation for regulated financial environments
• Create solution architecture documents, technical design specifications, and integration architecture
• Support proof-of-concepts, design governance workshops, and implementation planning
• Evaluate vendors and develop deployment models for blockchain solutions

What you bring

• 10+ years of overall technology experience, with at least 5+ years in blockchain, DLT, or digital asset technologies
• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise blockchain architecture and implementation
• Proven track record designing and delivering secure, scalable, enterprise-grade DLT solutions
• Experience working in banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments
• Strong understanding of distributed ledger technology, permissioned and public blockchain models, consensus mechanisms, node architecture, smart contracts, tokenization frameworks, wallet and custody architecture, key management, and on-chain/off-chain integration models
• Strong experience with Hyperledger, particularly Hyperledger Fabric and enterprise blockchain frameworks
• Experience with smart contract design and development, digital asset platforms, blockchain network architecture, API and middleware integration, security controls for DLT solutions, and reconciliation and transaction lifecycle design
• Good understanding of MPC, HSM, private key management, transaction signing workflows, institutional wallet controls, multi-level approvals, and disaster recovery and operational resilience
• Experience creating solution architecture documents, technical design specifications, integration architecture, and deployment models
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline

• Master's degree
• Experience with enterprise tokenization platforms
• Experience with privacy and permissioning models in DLT platforms
• Experience with cloud-based deployment of blockchain solutions
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD for blockchain environments
• Understanding of financial transaction processing, controls, reconciliation, and audit requirements
• Knowledge of secure smart contract review and governance practices
• Relevant blockchain certifications
• Cloud and security certifications
