Blockchain Engineer

As a Blockchain Engineer at Aeons Labs, you join the core technical team of the Launch Engine, a shared team working across new ventures in blockchain infrastructure, tokenization, financial technology and emerging digital systems. You work alongside a Full-Stack Engineer, AI/ML Engineer and Product Designer to prototype, test and deploy blockchain-enabled products across the portfolio. This role demands strong smart-contract fundamentals and a systems perspective: you care about wallets, permissions, token logic, APIs, indexing, testing, security, off-chain services and the user experience that makes blockchain infrastructure into actual products.

What you'll do

• Design and implement smart contracts for real products and prototypes
• Build primarily with Solidity and EVM-compatible infrastructure, while remaining open to other chains where product requirements justify them
• Develop token, wallet, permission, settlement and on-chain interaction logic
• Integrate contracts with front-end and back-end applications
• Write rigorous unit, integration and invariant tests
• Work with libraries and tooling such as Foundry, Hardhat, OpenZeppelin, ethers/viem or equivalent
• Think carefully about access control, upgradeability, key management, oracle dependencies and common smart-contract attack surfaces
• Review contracts written by other engineers and participate in technical design reviews
• Build prototypes quickly without allowing prototype habits to become production security standards
• Document important architectural decisions so another engineer can understand why the system was built the way it was
• Work across different AEONS ventures rather than being locked into a single product
