Blockchain Engineer

As a Blockchain Engineer, you build backend infrastructure powering next-generation Web3 wallet and decentralized finance products. You work on systems that interact directly with blockchain networks, from on-chain data acquisition and indexing to transaction flows and smart contract integrations. This role combines backend engineering, blockchain technology, and large-scale product development. You collaborate closely with blockchain engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and innovative features that improve how users interact with digital assets across multiple blockchain ecosystems.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems supporting Web3 wallet and blockchain-related products.
• Build services for on-chain data acquisition, parsing, indexing, processing, and analysis.
• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, coding, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with blockchain engineers and cross-functional teams to implement and integrate blockchain technologies and new on-chain features.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues involving product functionality, blockchain interactions, system stability, and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to deliver new capabilities and continuously improve existing products.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support emergency incident response for owned systems.

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in backend software development.
• Hands-on experience with Web3, blockchain, or wallet development, including familiarity with on-chain interactions, blockchain data structures, transaction flows, and smart contract integration.
• A strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and major public-chain ecosystems, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and comparable architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate complex technical issues and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java and related backend frameworks.
• AI engineering experience, particularly with LLM applications, model optimization, or agent workflow integration.
