Blockchain Engineer

As a Blockchain Engineer at Linkert Consulting, you will contribute to the development and technical direction of a next-generation cryptocurrency trading platform evolving from a P2P trading system into a centralized exchange (CEX) architecture. You'll work across secure, scalable, high-performance trading and blockchain infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Develop cryptocurrency trading and exchange infrastructure
• Build and maintain order management and matching systems
• Implement real-time market data services
• Integrate wallet and blockchain systems
• Design blockchain transactions and on-chain infrastructure
• Build scalable backend systems and APIs
• Ensure system security, performance, and reliability
• Contribute to technical architecture and engineering decisions

What you bring

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies
• Proven experience building or integrating blockchain-based applications, wallets, exchanges, or financial systems
• Strong backend development and API design skills
• A solid understanding of blockchain architecture, transactions, wallets, and smart contracts
• Experience with databases, distributed systems, and scalable infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A technical portfolio or GitHub demonstrating relevant engineering work

Nice to have

• Experience building crypto exchanges, trading platforms, or P2P systems
• Experience with order books and matching engines
• Experience with real-time market data systems
• Experience integrating multiple blockchain networks
• Experience with smart contracts and Web3 infrastructure
• Experience working with high-volume or financial technology platforms
• Experience contributing to technical architecture and engineering strategy
