Blockchain Engineer

As a Blockchain Apprentice at Prodiges, you will work on cutting-edge blockchain infrastructure and applications that enable portfolio companies to leverage Web3 technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized systems for real-world business solutions. You will gain hands-on experience across smart contract development, blockchain security, DeFi applications, and infrastructure scaling while contributing to projects that impact healthcare, fintech, climate tech, and retail.

What you'll do

• Design and implement smart contracts using Solidity and other blockchain languages
• Build automated contract testing and deployment pipelines
• Develop tokenization solutions for various asset classes
• Create governance mechanisms and DAO structures for portfolio companies
• Implement security best practices for smart contract development and conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Build secure multi-signature wallets and custody solutions
• Develop fraud detection and prevention mechanisms
• Create decentralized finance protocols and applications
• Build cross-chain interoperability solutions
• Develop NFT marketplaces and digital asset platforms
• Implement staking and yield farming mechanisms
• Work on Layer 2 scaling solutions and sidechains
• Optimize transaction throughput and reduce gas costs
• Build blockchain indexing and data analytics systems
• Develop node infrastructure and network monitoring tools
• Deploy live smart contracts on production networks
• Work with portfolio companies on enterprise blockchain solutions
• Contribute to open-source blockchain projects

What you bring

• Strong programming background in Solidity, JavaScript, or Rust
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and consensus mechanisms
• Experience with Web3 development frameworks such as Hardhat, Truffle, or Foundry
• Knowledge of cryptography and distributed systems concepts
• Familiarity with major blockchain networks including Ethereum, Polygon, and Solana
• Experience with DeFi protocols and smart contract interactions
• Understanding of tokenomics and token design principles
• Knowledge of blockchain security patterns and vulnerabilities
• Passion for decentralized technologies and Web3 innovation
• Strong attention to detail and security-first mindset
