Blockchain Engineer

Dabba Network is seeking a Blockchain Engineer to build and ship production Solana programs and backend services. You'll join a small team where your architectural decisions matter, working across on-chain smart contracts, Node.js/TypeScript services, and real-time data systems.

What you'll do

• Write and ship production Solana programs using Anchor for token management, staking, multi-stakeholder reward distribution, and hotspot onboarding
• Build backend services in Node.js/TypeScript that connect to the Solana RPC layer, listen to on-chain events, and keep blockchain state in sync with off-chain systems
• Design data models in MongoDB for operational data and ClickHouse for high-volume analytics
• Own the backend powering the Dabba Explorer, including APIs for real-time hotspot status, staking positions, reward claims, and token burn/mint events
• Build integrations with Solana DEXs and DePIN partner protocols
• Participate in design and architecture decisions alongside the team
• Take ownership of on-chain security by reviewing programs for vulnerabilities, writing adversarial test cases, and preparing for third-party audits
• Write comprehensive tests covering edge cases, failure modes, arithmetic boundary conditions, and simulated attack scenarios against locally spun-up validator state

What you bring

• 2+ years shipping on Solana mainnet with real users, real tokens, and real stakes
• Deep Anchor experience including PDA derivation and canonical bump handling, secure CPIs with correct privilege escalation and signer seed validation, custom account constraints and discriminator checks, zero-copy deserialization for large account state, compute unit budgeting, and multisig upgrade authority flows
• Experience with on-chain token mechanics: SPL tokens, emission schedules, burn instructions, staking/vesting contracts
• Strong Node.js/TypeScript skills: REST APIs, background workers, event-driven systems, solid async patterns
• Proficiency with MongoDB for operational data, ClickHouse for analytics, and Redis for caching and queues
• Comfort with DevOps basics: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deploying to cloud environments
• Ability to own integrations independently, reading third-party documentation and making things work without handholding
• Strong on-chain security mindset: missing signer checks, unchecked arithmetic, insecure CPI targets, PDA substitution attacks
• Backend security awareness for services handling wallet interactions and token flows
• Disciplined testing approach covering unit tests, integration tests against local validators with realistic state, and E2E tests simulating user journeys

Nice to have

• DePIN protocol experience
• MongoDB and ClickHouse expertise in production environments
• Production Node.js backend experience with REST APIs, services, and event-driven workers
• Any blockchain ecosystem touchpoint beyond Solana (Ethereum smart contracts, Web3.js, Ethers.js, or on-chain interaction experience)
• React or Next.js experience for full-stack flexibility

What we offer

• Salary of 8L-25L INR fixed per annum (no variable, no ESOP)
• In-office role in Koramangala, Bangalore, Monday through Saturday
• Notice period of 30 days or less preferred; 45-60 days negotiable for strong candidates
