Bybit is seeking a Blockchain Risk Control Analyst to develop next-generation AI-augmented threat intelligence and post-quantum cryptographic security systems. You will combine deep blockchain forensics expertise with machine learning techniques for anomaly detection, while addressing quantum computing threats to current cryptographic foundations across blockchain ecosystems. This role bridges academia and industry, partnering with research institutions to accelerate adoption of emerging cryptographic and AI-driven security techniques.
What you'll do
- Leverage LLM techniques to develop next-generation on-chain risk identification and threat intelligence systems, including autonomous agent workflows capable of continuous monitoring, self-triggered investigation, and automated operational responses that reduce manual intervention across the full risk lifecycle from detection to resolution
- Lead forensic investigations on real crypto theft, fraud, and market manipulation cases, integrating AI-assisted pattern recognition to accelerate root cause analysis
- Research post-quantum cryptographic algorithms (NIST PQC: ML-KEM, ML-DSA, SLH-DSA, FALCON) and their implications for blockchain security, assess quantum computing threats to existing cryptographic foundations (ECDSA secp256k1, hash functions), and evaluate migration paths
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders for incident response, and engage with academic institutions to translate frontier research into deployable security tools
What you bring
- A Master's or PhD degree in Blockchain Security, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in blockchain analytics such as SQL, Python, or Javascript
- Experience applying machine learning or AI techniques to blockchain data analysis, fraud detection, or threat intelligence
- A strong publication record in top-level industry or academic conferences
- Experience with blockchain monitoring and forensic tools and analytics platforms
- Understanding of quantum computing threats to elliptic curve cryptography and implications for key management in Web3
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Fluent English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
Nice to have
- Familiarity with NIST PQC standards (ML-KEM, ML-DSA, SLH-DSA, FALCON) and lattice/hash-based cryptography fundamentals
- Security or risk control experience
What we offer
- Study Growth Fund supporting your professional development and continuous learning
- Regular internal events including team-building activities, workshops, and collaborative sessions
- Work as part of a diverse, international team with global collaboration opportunities
- Career advancement opportunities within a rapidly expanding global company
- Internal mobility and long-term development pathways to build your career
