Brokerage Operations Specialist

As a Brokerage Operations Specialist at Robinhood, you lead first-line brokerage operations in the UK, accountable for operational oversight, control execution, and service delivery across Robinhood UK brokerage processes. You join an ambitious team building the future of finance during a historic moment of wealth transfer, bringing deep experience in securities operations and regulatory compliance to this newly expanding market.

What you'll do

• Support the launch, improvement, and scaling of Robinhood UK operations, products, tools, and systems
• Own first-line oversight of UK brokerage operations, including transaction reporting controls, transfer operations, outsourced service-provider oversight, and operational risk management
• Ensure all daily operations align with FCA CASS (Client Money and Asset) regulations and support the delivery of good customer outcomes under the FCA Consumer Duty
• Partner with Robinhood teams such as Brokerage Operations, Compliance, Risk, Customer Experience, Finance, Product, Engineering and Vendor Management
• Oversee and monitor the performance of operational business partners in line with intercompany agreements and SLAs
• Drive continuous process efficiency improvement, leveraging AI and data to improve operational processes and reduce operational risk
• Maintain operational Standard Operating Procedures and processes
• Partner with the Risk and Compliance team to review, implement and operate the required frameworks and controls to support regulatory requirements
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, control remediation, and operational readiness work for new launches and material process changes
• Foster a culture of professionalism, high ethical standards, personal development, and regulatory compliance

What you bring

• Based in the United Kingdom with the ability to work in the London office at least 3 days a week
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of operational experience specialising in financial services
• Deep experience with UK brokerage operations, CASS rules, and tax wrappers, including ISA servicing, transfers, reconciliations, and exception handling
• Proactive in identifying automation opportunities and using data to prioritise process improvements and control uplift
• Experience working across large projects with multiple work streams and coordinating cross functional teams
• Experience managing outsourced operational partners and holding them to SLAs, controls, reconciliations, and service-quality standards
• Exceptional attention to detail, collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in applying data analysis to solve business problems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple functional groups
• Resourceful and adaptive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
• Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment certifications
