Business Data Analyst

As a Business Data Analyst at CryptoMize, you work at the intersection of business questions and the data that answers them. You join the New Delhi HQ on a full-time, permanent basis with immediate joining. You manage master data, own the reporting environment, and support data-warehouse decisions that keep analysis honest. When strategists ask what the numbers say, yours are the numbers.

What you'll do

• Manage master data for engagements - creation, updates, deletion - under the governance the reporting environment requires
• Design and manage the reporting environment itself: data sources, security and metadata
• Deliver the analysis behind business decisions: consumer behavior, engagement performance, market movement
• Own data quality assurance on imported datasets, working with QA analysts where needed
• Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements as engagements evolve
• Drive data-integrity and normalization initiatives across engagement datasets
• Assess tests and implementations of new or upgraded systems, informing strategic decisions on the stack
• Carry the research discipline of identifying business needs and determining solutions including process improvement, organizational change, and strategic planning
• Help develop reports and analysis that feed business decisions

What you bring

• Demonstrated skill in business analysis: needs identification and solution determination
• Master data management expertise including creation, updates and deletion governance
• Proficiency in reporting-environment design: sources, security, metadata
• Data quality assurance capability on imported data
• SQL and spreadsheet depth on business datasets
• Data-warehouse requirement analysis experience
• Knowledge of data integrity and normalization methods
• Ability to handle confidential data per guidelines, NDA-grade
• Stakeholder communication skills: presenting findings in business language
• Strategic systems assessment capability

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL and warehouse SQL
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets at pivot-and-model depth
• Familiarity with BI dashboards at Metabase-class level
• Experience with data-quality profiling tools
• Track record built across CryptoMize engagements
• Process improvement and organizational change analysis background
