Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager at Alchemy Pay, you will drive growth in the European Union market for a leading cryptocurrency and payments solutions provider. You will work closely with senior management to develop and execute business development strategy, identify new partnership opportunities, and expand the company's crypto on/off-ramp and crypto-acceptance solutions across the region.

What you'll do

• Work closely with senior management to develop and implement tailored business development strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives with a focus on the EU market
• Research and identify new business opportunities, particularly in crypto on/off-ramp and crypto-acceptance solutions, to acquire new clients, increase market share and expand revenue streams
• Identify, establish and maintain partnerships with leading projects, chains, CEXs, wallets and other business partners to enhance collaborations and stimulate revenue growth
• Represent Alchemy Pay at industry conferences, local events and client meetings
• Conduct market research to identify best practices in the payments industry and provide market insights to support the internal payments team
• Monitor new market trends, competitor activities and collect feedback from clients and partners to refine product offerings, marketing campaigns and business strategies
• Work closely with product, marketing and operations teams to facilitate smooth client onboarding and post-sales support

What you bring

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience and success in a business development role within Web3 and crypto
• In-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain and payments
• Proficiency in English (required); fluency in a major European language is preferred
• A rich network of industry connections within Web3 and the payments industry
• Resilience under pressure, excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong multitasking and execution skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or above in finance, economics, management or a related field
• Past experience in FinTech and/or payments industry
