Business Development Spesialist - OTC Sales

As a Business Development Specialist - OTC Sales at Bittime, you grow the platform's over-the-counter trading business by identifying and engaging high-value clients, including institutional and sophisticated individual traders. You'll join a licensed crypto exchange in Jakarta, officially registered with Indonesia's Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Bappebti) and the Ministry of Communication & Information (Kominfo).

What you'll do

• Generate and qualify leads to identify potential high-value OTC clients
• Conduct market research on crypto trends and competitor offerings
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through responsive customer service
• Prepare sales proposals and pricing offers
• Coordinate with trading, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of OTC transactions
• Monitor performance metrics and recommend improvements to sales strategies
• Represent Bittime in meetings and events

What you bring

• 3 years of experience in the crypto industry
• Strong business development foundation with skills in lead generation and customer service
• Effective interpersonal capabilities and clear, professional communication with diverse stakeholders
• Solid analytical skills for interpreting market data, sales performance, and client behavior
• Experience in market research, particularly related to financial markets, fintech, or crypto assets
• Understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, or digital asset trading
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency with CRM tools and spreadsheets
• Fluency in English and Indonesian
• Ability to work on-site in Jakarta and manage multiple priorities with time-sensitive client demands

Nice to have

• OTC or institutional sales experience
• Fluency in Mandarin
