Business Manager

As a Business Manager at DRW, you'll help manage the rollout of new trading initiatives in the Americas region from our Chicago office. You'll liaise with internal and external teams to perform due diligence, shepherd new business processes, and ensure the successful launch and onboarding of new trading products, traders, and venues.

What you'll do

• Manage the assessment and implementation of new trading initiatives and trading access changes, including onboarding and decommissioning of traders, exchanges, products, execution systems, and clearing firms
• Gather relevant data, details, and timelines; define scope based on requirements; and communicate clearly with all support teams
• Liaise with internal and external parties and project manage initiatives to completion with quick turnaround and transparency
• Assist with managing exchange relationships, including new product launches, rebate and incentive programs, and new exchange onboardings
• Act as point of contact for traders on a variety of trading inquiries

What you bring

• 5-10 years of experience working in a trading environment (front office, operations, risk management, regulatory/compliance, business analysis, project management, client services, or administration)
• Experience onboarding new clearing firm, prime brokerage, exchange, rebate program, counterparty (KYC), and execution system relationships
• Previous project management experience
• Experience working and coordinating with teams located in multiple regions (US, Europe, and Asia)
• Understanding of regulatory, tax, risk, treasury, capital, and legal factors impacting new business initiatives
• Previous experience working directly with traders
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced organization with frequently changing priorities
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects
• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, technology, and terminology
• Action-oriented with a strong sense of urgency

What we offer

• Annual base salary of $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set
