Business Operations Manager (SOC2)

As a Business Operations Manager at Offchain Labs, you drive operational excellence across the company at the intersection of business operations, project management, and execution. You own high-priority security and technical initiatives while serving as a cross-functional member of the business operations team, with a particular focus on establishing and managing the company's SOC 2 compliance program from the ground up.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of ad hoc operational priorities and projects as they arise
• Own and drive SOC 2 operations and processes, establishing the roadmap, coordinating cross-functional teams, and overseeing implementation, evidence collection, and audit preparation
• Partner with internal teams including People, IT, Finance, Security, and Operations to support employee and business needs
• Project manage across teams on operational high-visibility, high-impact technical projects
• Drive documentation, evidence collection, process improvements, and cross-functional follow-up related to compliance and business operations
• Establish project plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, timelines, and success criteria
• Drive accountability across stakeholders and ensure deliverables stay on track
• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early and proactively work to resolve them
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality, attention to detail, and urgency

What you bring

• 4+ years of experience in business operations, project management, program management, strategy, management consulting, or a related field
• Exceptional project management skills with a demonstrated ability to independently drive complex, cross-functional projects to completion
• Strong hands-on experience with SOC 2 compliance
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with a natural ability to create structure, establish priorities, and keep things moving
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a bias toward practical solutions and execution

Nice to have

• Experience in a startup, high-growth technology, fintech, or crypto environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Security+ and PMP certifications
