C++ Developer | Crypto Trading Engine

As a C++ Developer at Algocor, you work on the core systems behind our crypto trading environment, connecting exchanges, processing real-time market data, managing order execution, and building reliable infrastructure for 24/7 markets. You contribute to high-performance systems that power our crypto trading infrastructure, bringing together research, engineering, execution, market data, and AI-enabled capabilities. This is a systems engineering role focused on market connectivity, market data, execution, performance, and reliability-not blockchain or smart contract development.

What you'll do

• Develop high-performance trading systems using modern C++
• Build and maintain connectivity to cryptocurrency exchanges
• Develop exchange adapters for market data and order execution
• Process real-time order books, trades, quotes, and market events
• Build reliable order management and execution components
• Work with WebSocket, REST, sockets, and exchange APIs
• Handle reconnect logic, sequencing, rate limits, and data consistency
• Optimize latency, throughput, memory allocation, and concurrency
• Build resilient systems for network failures and exchange interruptions
• Profile, debug, and optimize performance-sensitive components
• Work closely with Quant Research and Trading teams to move strategies into live execution
• Improve system reliability, monitoring, and observability

What you bring

• Hands-on experience with modern C++, ideally C++17 or later, with a focus on clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Strong understanding of Linux systems programming: processes, threads, memory management, I/O, and system-level programming
• A performance-oriented engineering mindset with understanding of latency, throughput, profiling, debugging, memory behavior, and optimization trade-offs
• Experience with multithreading, synchronization, sockets, asynchronous communication, and real-time data streams
• A production reliability mindset and ability to design systems that behave predictably when connections drop, external APIs fail, data arrives unexpectedly, or systems need to recover
• Genuine curiosity about digital asset markets, exchanges, order books, market data, and electronic execution

Nice to have

• Experience with crypto exchange connectivity or trading infrastructure
• Familiarity with exchanges such as Binance, OKX, Bybit, Coinbase, Kraken, Deribit, or similar venues
• Experience with electronic trading, HFT, market making, or algorithmic execution
• Knowledge of order books, market data normalization, and order management systems
• Experience with multi-exchange trading environments
• Knowledge of lock-free programming or low-latency networking
• Python experience for tooling, testing, or research integration
• Familiarity with observability and production monitoring
