Campus Recruitment & HR Specialist

As a Campus Recruitment & HR Specialist at Maven Securities in Amsterdam, you'll drive Maven's early careers strategy across the Netherlands and Europe while owning the onboarding experience for the Amsterdam office. The Emerging Talent Team is responsible for attracting, selecting and developing interns and graduates across Amsterdam, London, and Chicago. You'll balance a predominantly Emerging Talent role with contributions to broader People initiatives that support the employee experience.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with target universities, student societies, and external partners across the Netherlands and Europe to attract exceptional early careers talent
• Partner with the Emerging Talent team and hiring managers to deliver the recruitment process for Intern and Graduate programmes, including attraction, selection, offer management, and candidate engagement
• Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously review and improve recruitment processes, using data, market insights and stakeholder feedback to ensure they remain competitive and aligned with business needs
• Plan and deliver campus events, careers fairs and employer branding initiatives, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to strengthen Maven's brand presence
• Work closely with hiring managers, the Head of Emerging Talent and the Emerging Talent Lead to deliver Maven's early careers talent strategy
• Track, analyse and communicate recruitment metrics, pipeline performance and the return on investment of attraction initiatives, making recommendations to improve decision-making across the team
• Plan the delivery of graduate and intern training programmes, ensuring assessment metrics, support mechanisms, and growth opportunities are in place
• Partner with the Emerging Talent, Talent Acquisition, Core HR and Operations teams to create a market-leading onboarding experience for all candidates in the Amsterdam region
• Own the local visa process, including renewals and new applications, ensuring compliance with Dutch immigration requirements
• Support new hire onboarding logistics for the Amsterdam office, including contracts, documentation, inductions, and coordination with IT and facilities
• Act as a local point of contact for employee queries on HR policies and Dutch employment practices, escalating where needed

What you bring

• Expertise in recruiting and developing early careers talent, including interns and graduates
• Exposure to HR responsibilities, or a genuine interest in developing broader HR experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge at all levels
• The ability to act as a compelling and energetic ambassador for Maven, bringing your culture, career opportunities and employee proposition to life
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A data-driven approach, using insights and metrics to inform decisions and measure success
• Enthusiasm for employer branding and representing Maven at universities, networking events and on campus
• Thorough knowledge of the Netherlands talent market, ideally within Emerging Talent in a similar high-performing environment
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage
