Chief Blockchain Officer

As Chief Blockchain Officer at Tokn, you define and execute the company's blockchain strategy, designing and overseeing the architecture that supports an independent verification and investment intelligence layer for tokenized real-world assets and infrastructure. You lead the development of blockchain protocols, collaborate with engineering teams on back-end systems, and ensure secure, scalable integrations across multiple chains and data sources.

What you'll do

• Lead the development of blockchain protocols and set technical standards for security and reliability
• Collaborate with engineering teams on back-end systems, APIs, microservices, and data pipelines for blockchain-based applications
• Evaluate emerging blockchain technologies and integrate multiple chains and data sources securely and at scale
• Work closely with product, data, and leadership teams to align blockchain initiatives with business objectives
• Mentor technical staff and contribute to long-term roadmap and governance decisions
• Represent Tokn in industry discussions and thought leadership

What you bring

• Strong expertise in core blockchain technologies, blockchain architecture, and experience designing distributed systems
• Deep understanding of cryptography and cryptocurrency, with practical experience applying security best practices in production environments
• Hands-on experience in back-end web development for blockchain-based applications, including APIs, microservices, and data pipelines
• Proven track record leading technical teams, setting architectural direction, and delivering complex blockchain projects at scale
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working cross-functionally with product, data, and executive teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have

• Familiarity with tokenization of real-world assets and DePIN
• Experience with on-chain data modeling
