A leading global crypto exchange entering its next phase of growth as a multi-product financial platform seeks a Chief Marketing Officer to build and scale a world-class global marketing function. Reporting to the executive team, you own end-to-end marketing strategy across brand, growth, communications, and regional execution, positioning marketing as a core driver of user growth, engagement, and revenue.
What you'll do
- Define and execute global marketing strategy aligned to commercial and expansion objectives
- Drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention across retail and institutional segments
- Lead multi-region, multi-product marketing strategy, ensuring alignment across diverse markets and offerings
- Own global brand positioning and deliver high-impact campaigns, events, sponsorships, and partnerships
- Oversee performance marketing across paid, owned, and earned channels, optimising through data, attribution, and experimentation
- Establish clear KPI frameworks linking marketing activity to revenue, trading activity, and customer growth
- Lead global PR, communications, and reputation management, including executive visibility
- Scale social media and community ecosystems to strengthen brand presence and user loyalty
- Partner with regional teams to localise strategy and execute market entry and expansion
- Build and lead a high-performing global marketing organisation with strong operating discipline
What you bring
- Senior marketing leadership experience in high-growth, global technology, fintech, or platform businesses
- A strong track record across social media, events, and sponsorship-led growth strategies
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-region and multi-product marketing environments
- A highly data-driven approach, with clear methodology for using metrics, attribution, and analytics to inform decisions
- Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate marketing effectiveness through data, performance metrics, and commercial impact
- Proven success driving measurable business outcomes through integrated marketing strategies
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability
- Effectiveness at influencing senior stakeholders across regions and functions
- Experience in crypto, fintech, or adjacent sectors
