Chief of Staff to the CEO (Administrative)

As Chief of Staff to the Co-CEO at Kraken, you run the administrative engine of the Office of the CEOs. You own how the Co-CEO's time, travel, and meetings operate, and serve as their trusted partner in preparing for and executing the company's most important conversations, from one-on-ones to Board sessions and company-wide forums. You report directly to the Co-CEO and work closely with the executive team and administrative staff. This is an on-site role in San Francisco and requires extensive domestic and international travel with the Co-CEO.

What you'll do

• Own the Co-CEO's calendar end to end: prioritize, protect focus time, resolve conflicts without needing to ask, and anticipate needs before they become problems
• Own preparation for the Co-CEO's meetings, with briefing materials, context, and follow-ups
• Travel with the Co-CEO and other executives, handling logistics, scheduling, and day-of coordination
• Manage logistics for Board meetings, including scheduling, materials coordination, and day-of execution
• Manage logistics for executive team meetings
• Manage logistics for company-wide meetings

What you bring

• Experience as a Chief of Staff, senior Executive Assistant, or Business Partner to a C-level executive, ideally in a high-growth startup
• Experience supporting a CEO through board cycles and company-wide communications
• Experience in crypto, fintech, or another regulated industry
• A proven record of managing complex, high-stakes calendars and logistics with exceptional precision and no missed details
• Exceptional judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters and acting on the Co-CEO's behalf
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence to work comfortably with C-suite leaders, board members, and external partners
• Experience managing or mentoring executive assistants or other administrative professionals
• Ability to travel at a moment's notice
