Civil Structural Architecture Project Manager (Data Centers)

As a Civil Structural Architectural Project Manager at Galaxy's Helios campus in Afton, TX, you serve as the primary owner of CSA project execution on a hyperscale data center project. You coordinate closely with the general contractor and CSA trade partners to deliver a world-class mission-critical facility, overseeing site preparation, foundations, concrete, steel structures, building envelope systems, roofing, and architectural fit-out while managing contractors and subcontractors to maintain strict compliance with safety and quality standards.

What you'll do

  • Lead all CSA construction activities throughout the project lifecycle and manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk for CSA work packages
  • Develop and execute construction strategies to meet project milestones, drive project performance through proactive planning and issue resolution, and ensure successful delivery from groundbreaking through substantial completion and handover
  • Oversee earthwork, grading, utilities, drainage, roads, and site infrastructure
  • Manage foundation systems, concrete works, structural steel erection, and related structural packages
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and engineering requirements
  • Manage building envelope systems including roofing, cladding, waterproofing, doors, windows, and finishes
  • Coordinate architectural fit-out activities and ensure alignment with operational requirements
  • Monitor installation quality and adherence to design specifications
  • Lead and manage CSA subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and field teams
  • Coordinate interfaces between CSA, MEP, commissioning, and client representatives
  • Chair project meetings and communicate project status to leadership and stakeholders
  • Resolve design, constructability, and execution challenges in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Develop and manage CSA budgets and forecasts
  • Review change orders, subcontractor pay applications, and cost reports
  • Monitor productivity, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement value engineering initiatives
  • Support procurement planning for long-lead materials and specialty trade packages
  • Champion Galaxy's safety-first culture and ensure zero-harm execution
  • Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, project safety requirements, and company standards
  • Lead quality inspections, punch list management, and turnover processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across construction operations
  • Support integrated systems testing and commissioning activities
  • Manage CSA closeout documentation, warranties, as-builts, and turnover packages
  • Ensure successful client acceptance and project handover

What you bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years managing CSA scopes on large-scale industrial, mission-critical, semiconductor, manufacturing, or data center projects
  • Deep understanding of construction delivery models, risk management, and vendor oversight
  • Proven success managing and coordinating commissioning efforts
  • Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, BIM 360, Bluebeam, MS Project, and SharePoint
  • Experience delivering at least one project exceeding $200M construction value
  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to solving complex construction challenges
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and executional excellence
