
As a Compliance Advisory Lead for Money at Robinhood, you will ensure robust regulatory compliance across credit card products and money transmitter services (Robinhood Credit, Inc., and Robinhood Money, LLC). You will analyze regulatory changes, review customer disclosures, provide compliance guidance to product teams, and collaborate with bank sponsors to manage regulatory requests and audits. Your work will directly protect our platform and enhance customer experience.
What you'll do
- Provide compliance guidance on new products, features, and process changes to ensure adherence to applicable banking and consumer lending regulations.
- Review marketing materials, customer communications, and disclosures for regulatory compliance.
- Review and coordinate responses to regulatory agency and escalated customer complaints.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of Reg Z (credit card) and Reg E (deposit) disputes to ensure regulatory compliance and operational consistency.
- Coordinate due diligence requests and ongoing compliance activities with sponsor banks and other third-party partners.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Support internal audits, sponsor bank reviews, and regulatory examinations, including issue tracking, remediation, and response preparation.
- Partner with Product, Operations, Legal, Risk, Marketing, and Engineering teams to build compliant customer experiences.
What you bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7 years of compliance experience supporting consumer banking, credit cards, consumer lending, or other regulated financial products.
- Strong working knowledge of consumer financial regulations, including Regulation Z, Regulation E, UDAAP, FCRA, ECOA/Reg B, and related banking regulations.
- Experience reviewing marketing materials, customer communications, and product launches from a regulatory compliance perspective.
- Experience supporting complaint management, audits, and regulatory examinations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence partner teams (Product, Legal, Operations, and Risk).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet key regulatory deadlines.
- Proven ability to assess and manage compliance risks for novel or undefined financial features, translating evolving regulatory guidance into clear, actionable requirements for product teams.
- Self-motivated and collaborative, with a drive to build compliant, customer-focused financial products.
- The ability to view compliance as a strategic business partner that supports new product development while effectively managing regulatory risk.

- Base pay range of $115,000–$135,000 USD (Zone 1: Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Washington, DC), $101,000–$119,000 USD (Zone 2: Denver, CO; Chicago, IL), or $89,000–$105,000 USD (Zone 3: Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL), depending on location.
