Compliance Analyst

As a Compliance Analyst at OKX, you support the Compliance function at OKX Seychelles in building and maintaining the company's overall compliance culture. You join a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on regulatory obligations and enterprise risk, with a focus on AML/CFT and Sanctions risk management.

What you'll do

• Assist with the development and maintenance of robust compliance policies, procedures, controls, and frameworks
• Monitor and assess compliance with laws, regulations and policies including AML/CFT, Sanctions, FATF Guidances, and similar types of regulation
• Participate in, track and monitor compliance reviews and investigations
• Support the creation of Compliance reports, including reports to management and the board, and submit them in a timely manner
• Review and assess escalations involving high-risk clients, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and complex or unusual transactions, and provide recommendations for their appropriate resolution
• Engage cross-functionally with groups such as Data, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Product, and Risk to implement an effective compliance management program in line with global standards and industry best practices
• Assist with special projects as needed in a fast-paced, evolving environment

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience in compliance with the financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries
• Experience and knowledge of relevant laws and requirements (AML/CFT, Sanctions, consumer protection, privacy) and the ability to support regulatory engagements
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivation, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently and in a dispersed team environment covering multiple and varied tasks
• Strong ethical standards and comfort challenging and questioning when appropriate
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

Nice to have

• Experience in cryptocurrency or blockchain compliance programs
• Familiarity with compliance technology and analytics tools
• Prior exposure to multi-jurisdictional compliance oversight
• CAMS, ICA, or equivalent certification
