Compliance Specialist (MiFID / Crypto)

As a Compliance Specialist at Change, you support the daily compliance function within the company's MiFID II and MiCA activities. You join a small, experienced team at a fintech that has operated since 2010, holds a MiFID II investment firm licence, serves approximately 120,000 registered users across Europe, and is among the first CASPs authorised in the Netherlands under MiCA.

What you'll do

• Support practical implementation of MiFID II and IFR/IFD requirements in daily operations
• Help maintain AML/CFT and transaction monitoring processes
• Translate regulatory and supervisory requirements into internal processes and procedures
• Support ongoing supervision and related activities
• Conduct compliance assessments of product changes and new features before launch
• Communicate with the AFM and DNB, including preparing responses to supervisory information requests
• Monitor and ensure internal policies and procedures are followed in practice
• Maintain and continuously improve the company's compliance framework
• Identify potential compliance issues and escalate them to relevant senior team members
• Track relevant regulatory and legislative developments and support their implementation
• Work closely with other teams across the organisation

What you bring

• At least 2 years of experience in compliance, financial services, legal, risk, or a comparable field
• Basic knowledge of MiFID II and AML/CFT with motivation to develop your expertise further
• Ability to understand regulatory and supervisory requirements and translate them into daily practice
• Precise and structured working style
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and readiness to take ownership of assigned tasks
• Fluent Dutch and English

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of or interest in MiCA and crypto-related regulations
• Experience in fintech, crypto, or another fast-changing regulated environment
• Experience in an international or rapidly growing organisation
