COMSEC/Cryptographic Mod-Cryptographic Planning-1

Credence seeks Cryptographic Planning personnel to support Air Force Cryptographic Modernization efforts at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. You will help identify capability gaps, assess vulnerabilities in COMSEC and cryptographic systems, and develop recommendations, requirements, and strategic plans for modernized solutions across air, ground, space, cyber, and weapons platforms. You will also support roadmap development, architecture and requirements documentation, compliance tracking, fielding strategies, and leadership briefings related to enterprise cryptographic modernization.

What you'll do

• Participate in meetings, progress reviews, integrated teams, and working groups
• Draft, edit, and review correspondence and documentation using Microsoft Office applications
• Provide information management, records management, scheduling, and meeting and conference support
• Prepare and present briefing and training materials
• Liaise and coordinate with personnel at all levels inside and outside the organization
• Provide awareness of new and evolving requirements and recommendations for integration
• Support planning, programming, tracking, and financial execution
• Prepare information papers, point papers, background papers, and staff studies
• Provide Program Objective Memorandum (POM) support and advice on HQ CCC programs and processes of the Secretary of the Air Force, Headquarters Air Force, Cyber Panel, HQ ACC, and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division
• Collect, consolidate, document, and review inputs; prepare Major Command (MAJCOM) POM documentation including PowerPoint, Excel, and Bullet Background Papers; make recommendations; and brief cost estimates, initiatives, and disconnects for each program under the program element
• Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for government review and approval with long-term recommendations for Air Force cryptography to address algorithm decertifications and rapidly changing technology, analyzing options for the 2026-2036 timeframe and long-term recommendations in the 2030-2060 timeframe
• Provide Device Management, Accountability, and Algorithm Transition support and advice to HQ CCC by collecting and reviewing inputs, preparing documentation, and making recommendations for each crypto program
• Investigate opportunities for continuous process improvement within the Cryptographic Modernization team and provide recommendations to HQ CCC
• Assist the government with Radio Cryptographic Modernization Plan (RCMP) database improvements, sustainment, and troubleshooting

What you bring

• TS clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility
• Minimum two years of advanced staff experience planning, organizing, and negotiating effectively with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of critical recommendations
• At least two years of staff experience managing complex, multi-faceted programs
• Strong oral and written communication skills to support staff action officer processes, including document reviews, program updates, and creation of point papers
• Expert knowledge of Communication Security (COMSEC) equipment and keying material processes with a minimum of two years of experience
• Thorough understanding of controlling authority roles and responsibilities, as well as complex equipment account roles and responsibilities
• In-depth knowledge and experience with strategic-level NSA, DoD, and DAF security policies and procedures as they pertain to cryptographic and keying material
• In-depth knowledge of associated classification guides pertaining to cryptographic algorithms, equipment, and COMSEC keying material
