COMSEC/Cryptographic Modernization Air & Ground Cryptographic Analysis-4

Credence is seeking qualified candidates for a COMSEC/Cryptographic Modernization Air & Ground Cryptographic Analysis role to support Air Force cryptographic modernization efforts. This position is being passively advertised to build a pool of candidates for future openings as they become available. You will help identify capability gaps, assess vulnerabilities in COMSEC and cryptographic systems, and develop recommendations, requirements, and strategic plans for modernized solutions across air, ground, space, cyber, and weapons platforms. You will also support roadmap development, architecture and requirements documentation, compliance tracking, fielding strategies, and leadership briefings related to enterprise cryptographic modernization.

What you'll do

• Participate in meetings, progress reviews, integrated teams, and working groups
• Draft, edit, and review correspondence and documentation using Microsoft Office applications
• Provide information management, records management, scheduling functions, and meeting and conference support
• Prepare briefing and training materials and present briefings and trainings
• Liaise and coordinate with personnel at all levels inside and outside the organization
• Provide awareness of new and evolving requirements and recommendations for integration
• Provide support for planning, programming, tracking, and financial execution
• Prepare information papers, point papers, background papers, and staff studies
• Analyze proposed solutions and their ability to effectively close identified capability gaps for Air & Ground systems
• Conduct analysis during Air Force development and implementation of crypto solutions, and provide data to the Government to verify the solution meets identified needs
• Evaluate the solution, implementation, and transition, and report any deviations from the implementation plan that would impact the warfighter
• During the algorithm transition phase, provide recommendations to CONAUTHs and system users, and periodically assess and report status toward meeting the algorithm transition deadline
• Evaluate the selected algorithm-compliant High Assurance Device (HAD), manage and report on the transition of HAD hardware and keying material, and support the cutover from legacy equipment to algorithm-compliant systems
• Support RCMP analysis and provide advice to HQ CCC and SAF/CN by collecting and reviewing cryptographic device inputs, modifying Excel and database documentation, and reporting status to SAF

What you bring

• Active TS clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility
• Demonstrated proficiency in Space COMSEC principles, encompassing the full lifecycle management of cryptographic equipment from development and fielding through sustainment
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in cryptographic key management, including ordering, generation, distribution, and destruction, using systems such as KMI, and a comprehensive understanding of the strategic roles and operational responsibilities of Controlling Authorities and COMSEC account management
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with strategic-level NSA, DoD, and DAF security policies and procedures related to cryptographic and keying material, including classification guides for cryptographic algorithms, equipment, and COMSEC keying material
• Minimum of 2 years of advanced staff experience planning, organizing, and negotiating effectively with cross-functional teams using TMT or other staff coordination standards, document reviews, program updates, and background papers to drive adoption of critical recommendations
