Corporate Actions Associate

As a Corporate Actions Associate at DRW, you join the Global Trading Operations team to establish and support a new, efficient corporate actions function. You will work directly with product managers and technology to build a sophisticated Corporate Actions system that serves the firm's operational and front office research needs. This role is critical to processing corporate actions across DRW's global trading operations and serving as the firm's main point of contact for related inquiries.

What you'll do

• Serve as a primary support contact for daily Corporate Actions operations and research
• Review and validate all global dividend, mandatory, and voluntary event details within DRW's event management system and swiftly resolve outstanding exceptions and risk
• Collaborate with team members globally to oversee all entitlement and liability processing, and consult with technology partners to resolve daily exceptions
• Monitor and process all upcoming voluntary corporate action elections in timely fashion
• Reconcile all corporate action entitlements against prime broker and custodian reports
• Act as a firm subject matter expert to investigate and respond to inquiries from internal trading desks, technology, and other internal and external stakeholders
• Partner closely with DRW's technology teams to enhance daily operations: assist in the firm's event management build and testing, define system logic to automate entitlement bookings and adjustments, and provide clear requirements to improve reconciliation efforts
• Assist with the team's global evolving risk and coverage model by suggesting new methods and controls to ensure smooth processing and quick resolution of all events and entitlements

What you bring

• 3-5+ years of relevant corporate action experience, preferably across all regions and markets
• A solid understanding of each corporate action type and its respective lifecycle and nuance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting with various stakeholders throughout the firm
• Proven experience working in an operational project setting to drive measurable results
• Direct experience with Corporate Action vendor data and prime broker portals
• Working knowledge of equity instrument reference data
• Reliability as a team player who can manage both day-to-day operations and project support

What we offer

• Annual base salary of $110,000 to $150,000 depending on your experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set
