Country Manager - Crypto Exchange

As Country Manager for Korea at a major cryptocurrency exchange, you own the full P&L and go-to-market strategy for one of the most competitive digital asset markets globally. This is a build-and-own mandate: you set strategy, drive the regulatory and licensing agenda, and own market share and revenue growth.

What you'll do

• Own the full P&L and go-to-market strategy for the Korea market, including business development, partnership programs, and competitive positioning against entrenched local players
• Establish and execute the regulatory roadmap, securing and maintaining the licenses required to operate the full product suite locally, and serve as the primary voice with regulators and government stakeholders
• Conduct market and competitor intelligence to identify genuine opportunities rather than crowded battlegrounds
• Provide local product input, working closely with global product teams to localize the roadmap
• Build and coach a high-performing local team

What you bring

• 12+ years of senior leadership in a large, fast-growing exchange, fintech, or payments business
• Comfort operating at both the strategic level and in operational detail, able to articulate market theses with specificity and withstand pressure-testing on details
• A proven track record navigating regulatory bodies and licensing processes in heavily regulated, competitive markets
• A decisive, direct approach and comfort operating at speed in a hands-on leadership role
• Genuine, self-driven interest in digital assets, backed by independent research and real conviction
• Fluency in Korean and English
