Crypto Accounting Intern (Summer 2027)

As a Crypto Accounting Intern at Robinhood, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our digital asset financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building scalable processes to support our rapid product expansion. You will assist with the monthly close process, financial reporting, and a variety of ad-hoc projects, contributing directly to the team's success. This role is based in our New York, NY office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you'll do

• Assist with the monthly and quarterly close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support financial statement analysis and reporting
• Apply U.S. GAAP principles to real-world accounting scenarios
• Collaborate with various teams to gather information and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with an expected graduation date in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028
• A foundational understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology and interest in how digital assets impact financial reporting
• Effective written and verbal communication and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
