Crypto Compliance Junior Analyst

As a Crypto Compliance Junior Analyst at Canaria, you support and enhance anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance projects for clients of this U.S.-based compliance consulting firm. You work remotely and report to senior staff on a full-time basis, either on a permanent or temporary contract basis (3 months).

What you'll do

• Assist in the management of client projects under the direction of senior staff
• Participate in AML and sanctions risk assessments and contribute to the development of compliance programs
• Support KYC/AML and transaction monitoring operations
• Regularly communicate with team members to provide updates, gather requirements, and receive feedback on ongoing projects

What you bring

• 1-3 years of experience in anti-money laundering, transaction monitoring, or financial crimes compliance within the financial sector or related fields
• Fluency in English
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts, tools, and systems
• Proven capability to work effectively in a remote team environment and maintain strong working relationships

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Legal, or a related field
• Proficiency in Spanish
• CAMS certification or other relevant qualifications
