Crypto Compliance Officer

As a Crypto Compliance Officer at a Swiss financial services firm, you will support the Compliance team in managing KYC/CDD, client onboarding, AML monitoring, and regulatory compliance for crypto and digital assets. You'll join a permanent role based in Zurich, working across the full lifecycle of client compliance and regulatory requirements under Swiss law.

What you'll do

• Support KYC/CDD, client onboarding and ongoing client reviews, including risk assessments and identification of PEPs and sanctions risks
• Assist with AML monitoring, transaction reviews and investigations, escalating potentially suspicious activities where appropriate
• Support the implementation and maintenance of AML, KYC and Compliance policies, procedures and internal controls in line with Swiss regulatory requirements
• Conduct research and assist with regulatory and compliance matters relating to crypto and digital assets, including monitoring regulatory developments
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Operations, Legal, Risk and Compliance to ensure effective implementation of regulatory requirements
• Assist with internal reporting, compliance documentation and regulatory audits

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, Compliance or a related field
• First professional experience in Compliance, AML/KYC, Financial Crime or a regulated financial environment
• Good knowledge of Swiss AML/Compliance requirements
• A strong interest in cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology and the evolving digital-asset regulatory landscape
• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• Experience with crypto and digital assets
• Familiarity with AMLA, FINMA requirements and/or VQF standards
• German language skills
