As a Crypto Custody Operator/Agent at McCoin Virtual Assets, you support daily cryptocurrency custody activities, asset transfers, settlement and reconciliation between our custody provider, trading platform and internal systems. You bring practical experience with cryptocurrency transactions, wallets and exchange operations, with strong attention to accuracy and security procedures.
What you'll do
- Monitor and process cryptocurrency deposits, withdrawals and transfers through approved workflows.
- Coordinate asset movements between custody providers and trading platforms, including Hex Trust and Binance.
- Monitor transaction confirmations, wallet balances and settlement status.
- Perform daily reconciliation of custody balances, exchange balances and internal transaction records.
- Investigate failed transactions, settlement delays and reconciliation discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate transaction records, reports and audit trails.
- Coordinate with Finance, Compliance and Technology teams to resolve operational issues.
- Follow internal security controls, approval procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support improvements to custody operations and settlement efficiency.
What you bring
- 1-3 years of experience in crypto operations, exchange operations, payment operations or financial settlement.
- A good understanding of cryptocurrency wallets, blockchain transactions and networks such as BTC, Ethereum, TRC20 and ERC20.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges and deposit/withdrawal procedures.
- Basic knowledge of reconciliation, transaction monitoring and operational controls.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to investigate transaction issues and coordinate with internal teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Binance, Hex Trust, Fireblocks, Ceffu or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with blockchain explorers such as Etherscan or Tronscan.
- Basic understanding of AML/KYT processes and virtual asset regulations.
- Experience in a crypto exchange, brokerage, fintech or payment services company.
