Crypto Lead

As a Crypto Lead at CACI, you oversee the COMSEC and encryption team supporting an Intelligence Community customer's wide-area (WAN), local-area (LAN), and campus-area (CAN) networks across multiple security domains. You manage TCS COMSEC account managers and direct cryptologic duties including operation and maintenance of encryption devices across the enterprise.

What you'll do

• Oversee the overall COMSEC/Encryption team, including account management, custodian duties, and encryption device configurations and maintenance
• Oversee and maintain multiple secure communication devices across the enterprise, including General Dynamics (KG175D, KG175F, KG175G, KG175X), L-3 (KG245A, KG245X), and Viasat (KG250, KG250X, KG255X, KG142) families
• Manage encryption device managers including General Dynamics GEM ONE, L-3 Common HAIPE Manager (CHM), and Viasat VINE
• Coordinate system maintenance, monitoring, and installation of multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies
• Research and implement enterprise system-wide encryption solutions, capabilities, and enhancements to support customer business and mission goals
• Troubleshoot and resolve network media and component issues
• Evaluate and monitor health and performance of communications security services including hardware and management software, and develop and maintain a roadmap for capabilities, operations, and technologies
• Develop and execute test plans and supporting documentation of all communications security configuration upgrades, additions, or revisions for customer approval before implementation
• Evaluate and report on new and emerging network and communication technologies to enhance capacity, performance, and reliability
• Evaluate and recommend changes and technology upgrades to address performance, standardization, and industry best practices
• Follow all customer network security processes and procedures and ensure compliance with government policies

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of experience in a COMSEC/Crypto role
• DOD 8570 IAT2 level certification (Security+)
• Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility to take and pass a CI polygraph
• Ability to work independently with little direction and guidance
• Ability to work weekends and evening hours as needed
• Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents and present oral presentations to senior and executive management
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite: Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

• ISC2 CISSP
