Crypto Operations Intern (Summer 2027)

As a Crypto Operations Intern at Robinhood, you'll serve as a technical product and operations expert, owning processes critical to maintaining Robinhood's crypto products. You'll partner with specialized teams across Trading, Money Movements, Account Servicing, Product Operations, and Risk Management to identify optimization opportunities, support day-to-day processes, and provide feedback that informs product development. This role is based in our New York, NY office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you'll do

• Support critical business functions such as monitoring order and execution health, blockchain network performance, and liquidity management
• Handle and troubleshoot complex customer escalations, supporting root-cause analysis and partnering with product teams to prioritize fixes
• Identify inefficiencies in operational processes, translate operational needs into product requirements, and collaborate with product operations to design scalable solutions
• Contribute to the design and enhancement of internal tools by providing feedback, testing new workflows, and partnering with engineering to ensure tools meet operational needs
• Support product launches and feature rollouts by ensuring operational readiness and developing clear process documentation

What you bring

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field with an expected graduation date of Winter 2027 or Summer 2028
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information for different audiences
• An operational and product-oriented mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Interest and passion for crypto, blockchain technology, and emerging financial products
