As a Cryptobeheerder (Crypto Manager) at the Defensie Ondersteuningscommando (DOSCO), you protect vital information by managing advanced communication equipment and military encryption technology known as Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI). Note: this role focuses on IT security and cryptography, not cryptocurrency. You ensure systems run smoothly, load the correct cryptographic keys, and help other units streamline their crypto processes while translating complex technical matters into clear guidance for stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Manage and maintain Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) and advanced military encryption systems
- Troubleshoot communication systems to ensure they operate without interruption
- Load and manage cryptographic keys across secure communication networks
- Support other military units in optimizing their cryptographic processes
- Provide expert advice on secure communications and translate complex technical documentation into clear guidance for your audience
What you bring
- Completed MBO 4 qualification as a minimum
- Knowledge of secure communications; completion of a cryptobeheerder training course is preferred
- Willingness to be on-call under a standby arrangement (consignatie)
What we offer
- Monthly salary of €3,507.00 to €4,709.00 based on a 38-hour working week
- Temporary appointment with prospect of permanent employment
