Cryptography Expert

Ampstek is seeking a Cryptography Expert to design and deliver secure crypto solutions for banking and payment systems. You will own encryption key architecture, HSM infrastructure, and cryptographic standards compliance across enterprise platforms.

What you'll do

• Design and build crypto solutions and architectures that adhere to PCI and ANSI standards and roadmaps
• Provide crypto and data security services using HSM for banking and payment platforms
• Manage key hierarchy (LMK, ZMK, ZPK, TMK, TPK, PVK, CVK) and implement cryptographic standards including Triple DES, RSA, Key Block, and AES
• Support HSM infrastructure across multiple vendors, manage HSM services migrations, and respond to incidents
• Take full ownership of encryption key changes and ensure timely remediation of key platform obsolescence in cards and systems
• Drive continuous improvement by introducing IT best practices into process, metrics, and performance across security functions
• Review regulatory mandates and collaborate with the CISO and security team to design compliant solutions
• Lead technical and architecture forums, presenting product vision and strategy to internal client committees
• Work with cards and platforms subject matter experts to support design, build, testing, deployment, and post-release support in an agile environment
• Communicate requirements, software features, technical designs, and product strategy to users, technical teams, and senior management
